D305-045
14-02-06 - Cerf ignores Grecian Urn.
And misses out on a vast cultural heritage.

D305-055
14-02-13 - Yes, they're still there.
We were attending a lecture on the subject of flags. This was given by, I believe, a bishop in the Anglican Church. Can't remember his name. Agreed (humourously) that he could perform Barmitzvahs on request.

D305-058
14-02-13 - One of my fave designs.
From sea to sea. Was a contender in the selection process. Would like to know why it was passed over. This, apparently was Mr Pearson's preference. The three maple leaves could have stood for the three founding nations: French, British and Aboriginal.

websrch:rejected canadian flag designs

14-05-09 - A "find" along the Bruce Trail.
You can actually see the hosta clump that we rescued for our garden. (Top left) Sadly the gnome was missing when we came by a week or so later. This mess seems to be the result of someone living in a house on the bank above the trail, and pitching the debris of their landscaping business down the hill into the woods. Where we Bruce Trail minions have to clean it up.
