We're told this is something of a folly, like Casa Loma in
Toronto. The eight octagonal towers were imbued with
mathematical significance. It was built by the Holy Roman
Emperor Frederick II in the 13th century. Virtually no signs of
wear and tear on the outside.
The interior seems somewhat sparse today.
