End of regression

d483-013
18-06-21 - From AP back rm. 2$ TS Eliot Prufrock satire, brilliant. But "literary" writing sometimes really seems to invite the criticism that literary writers write that way because they dont know how to plot.

d483-067
18-06-25 - Propeller shaft to mill on this side. Red lean-to, right, also houses a turbine to drive the mill machinery.

d483-071
18-06-25 - Back via Laura Secord bridge, 12mi creek. This is about a kilometer upstream from the power station. The creek's flow here represents normal local runoff, not hydro power generation. The bridge was built by Rankin Construction for the Laura Secord bi-centennial, 2013. The footpath continues north on the west side of Twelve-mile Creek towards Glendale Ave and downtown St. Catharines.

d483-072
18-06-25 - DeCew power stn, old channels to turbines.

d483-073
18-06-25 - Glendale Av. Here, doing the LS bridge loop, we normally take the old Glendale bridge (see left), east across the creek and enter the local streets of South St. Catharines. Bags of tags but very little real grafitti art.

d483-074

d483-088
18-07-01 - I've long had a hankering (not really a plan, as yet) to install a bust of some Roman emperor, or Greek hero, on a classical column in the backyard garden. Looks like it would take about $500 to do it, with internet procurement. A bit pricey for an in-joke that nobody but me would really appreciate. We don't do our AIA potlucks any more. So that rules out the built-in audience of yesteryear.

2018-07-01 MnA fireworks.

d483-089
18-07-01 - I'm back in the saddle again ... out where a friend is a friend. Where the lowly jimson weed is all the cattle need ... Hmmmm, seems I'm in the wrong movie.
